Scott was a great friend and surfing buddy from sixth grade through college. We went off to UCSB together in his green van, taking our surfboards along. We had some adventures. He married, moved to Oregon, and became a lawyer. Sadly we lost touch after that, and I didn't learn of his death until a few years after his passing. I think of him often, though, and he is missed.
