Tom Tondee passed away on October 20,1994, at the age of 42 in La Verne, California. The cause of death was cancer. He is survived by Teri Forbes Tondee , (CHS '69), and three sons.
I didn't know Tom as a friend, but I sure remember him from high school and especially the very first time I became aware of him at El Roble Intermediate School. It was lunch time outside... and Tom looked as if he'd eaten something that violently disagreed with him. Out came the ejecta... and it turned out to be fake barf. Tom was a crack-up. I saw he died in 1994 at 42. That was a total surprise. I also saw that he was a pastor... also a surprise. I'll bet he is still cracking up the angels of Heaven!

Tom and I used to scuba dive together. I lost touch with him when I went to college in Oregon. I am so sorry to hear about this.
